We met Alton Brown at a show he did here - we paid the extra cash to meet him and get a blurry cellphone pic with him and have him sign a picture. He noticed my (male) companion’s pocket watch, and proceeded to order him to take it out of his pocket. It wasn’t obnoxious, it was in a Dom tone that brooked no argument. So he complied. When he found out it wasn’t wound, and so not working, he was deeply disappointed, and told him to do better next time.

If this guy isn’t a Dom, I’ll eat that spreader bar.

Did anyone else just LOVE “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” as a book WAY more than the movie? I loved the book, but the movie was subpar, I think. I don’t know. I absolutely love Jenny Han’s writing, so maybe that’s why, but I just felt the movie was so rushed? The acting was great and really carried the movie, but the screenplay was just so… blah? I know a book-to-movie adaptation will never be perfect, but I feel like “TATBILB” fell really short. I hate feeling this way, but I can’t shake it. Oh, well. I’m super excited to read the next two books and also wait for Netflix’s sequel.

Empower fat/heavy women who don’t fit “plus size beauty” norms.

trekkie12:

Empower fat/heavy women with disproportionately small breasts.

Empower fat/heavy women whose breasts are “lopsided”/unevenly distributed.

Empower fat/heavy women who have flat/square bottoms.

Empower fat/heavy women who have muffin tops instead of hips. (Yes! Instead of!)

Empower fat/heavy women who have “bat-wings”/”granny arms”.

Empower fat/heavy women who don’t have a defined jawline.

Empower fat/heavy women who have a rectangular silhouette/don’t have an hourglass figure.

Destroy the idea that all “plus-size” women have the same body type.

I’ve just watched “Dumplin’” for the FOURTH time in THREE days. I love it. I absolutely love it. Sweet baby Jesus, please, let there be the sequel made into a movie. As much as I’ll miss Bo and Willowdean, I NEED more Millicent!!! 😭❤️

When you’re watching Dumplin’ for the first time and Bo opens the door and you aren’t ready for the way he says Willowdean’s name like
